BOARDING STABLE AGREEMENT

WITH

TEX’s 5 STAR STABLES

 

 

WITNESS THIS AGREEMENT this ______ day of _________________20____, by and between TEX’s 5-STAR STABLES (T5SS), and or EDWARD A. DAVIS or JOHNESE G. DAVIS or MARCQUIS G. DAVIS, hereinafter referred to as “STABLE OR T5SS” and the individual(s)_____________________________________________ undersigned, hereinafter referred to as “OWNER(S).”

 

The boarding fee is due upon the first (1st) of the preceding month, or unless otherwise stated here.  (Exceptional due dates :) ____________________.  In the event said payment is overdue by ten (10) days, late fees are due and Stable shall be entitled to exert a lien against said horse, and the property upon the premises as more further described below, for any amounts due, and shall be entitled to enforce said lien and foreclose its interest against said and/or equipment for the amount due in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.  A security deposit of (seventy-five dollars) $75.00 for “The Condos”, and (forty five dollars) $40.00 for “The Temps” payable with this Contract, and shall be refunded to Owner within thirty (30) days of the date of completion of this Contract, providing stall and equipment is in same condition as upon arrival as stated on the MOVE IN CHECK OFF LIST and the (thirty) 30 day notice is given.

The initial monthly charge applicable to the services as set forth below shall be (one hundred five dollars) $105.00 per month for the “The Condos”, (one hundred, thirty dollars) $130.00 per month for “The Foaling Stalls”, and or (seventy five dollars) $75.00 per month for “The Temps”, for all Self Care Boarding Owners.  Fees are prorated for a partial month upon mid month move-in.  Fees may change from time to time with a thirty (30) day notice to Owners.

Additional voluntary charges include for Partial Care Boarding & Full Care Boarding, but not limited to, $15.00 a month or $5.00 a week, for trailer parking,    $4.00 a day for Stable to feed Owner’s horse feed once a day,   $6.00 a day during Holidays,   $1.00 per day to feed vitamins or supplements, that Owner provides.  This feeding will be done at Stable’s feeding time.  There are additional charges for hands-on medical treatments, special attention and if your horse requires a separate place from the other horses.  The charge for cleaning stalls is $3.50 a day for once a day cleaning, and $6.00 a day for Holidays and $35.00 total a month for T5SS to clean stalls on our cleaning schedule.

There will be a (thirty-five dollars) $35.00 charge for “The Temps” and (forty dollars) $40.00 charge for “The Condos” plus sand fee for stalls that need to be cleaned out completely and re-sanded by T5SS.  This fee is mandatory to the Tenants who cannot and who will not remove all the debris necessary to re-sand the stall on a quarterly basis.  For the Tenants who can clean all debris and spread the sand there is a (twenty dollar) $20.00 for “The Condos” and (fifteen dollar) $15.00 for “The Temps” fee to supply sand.

 

Other charges may apply not listed here.  This is not a complete list of charges.

 

  1. Fees, termS, and Location   

 

Owner acknowledges and accepts those terms set forth in the rate schedule applicable on the date above as issued by Stable, whether said rates are daily, weekly, or monthly.  Payments shall be issued in accordance with the rate schedule on a timely basis.  Any charges not paid in a timely manner shall be subject to finance and or late charges set forth in the rate schedule.  After 45 days of nonpayment T5SS will demand payment in full and will require an additional deposit of $75.00 to be paid immediately in order for the horse(s) to remain on the property.

 

In the event the subject animal is removed from the premises for any reason and returned, this agreement shall be deemed reinstated at rates applicable at the time of said return.  Stable reserves the right to notify Owner within thirty (30) days of the horse’s arrival if the horse, in the Stable’s opinion is deemed to be dangerous or undesirable for Stable’s establishment.  In such case, Owner shall be solely responsible for removing the horse within (7) days of said notice and for all fees incurred during the horse’s presence upon the premises.  This contract shall be deemed terminated and concluded upon the payment of all fees.

 

 

There will be a late fee charge OF $25.00 due on THE FIFTH (5th) day of non payment of stall rental and AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $5.00 A DAY starting on the eleventh (11th) DAY of NON PAYMENT.   THERE WILL BE a $35.00 FEE FOR ALL returned checkS 

there will be a $3.00 charge for Credit or debit card payments.

 

 

2.         proof of Ownership of Horse(s) to be Boarded.           

 

Owner warrants that he owns the horse(s) and will provide proof satisfactory to Stable in the form of the registration papers and or of the negative Coggins test upon arrival and move-in of horse(s) brought to T5SS’s property.  Coggins must be under 150 days or 5 months prior to new boarding agreement, and kept current yearly thereafter.  Coggins must be 6 months or newer for shows, clinics, or play days at Stables.  Any horse that does not have an annual current Coggins will be fined $25.00 a month for expired Coggins.

 

Owner agrees to submit a fully completed Owner Information Sheet (provided by Stable), Shot Records {up to date}, and a Negative Coggins (provided by Owner from Veterinarian) for each horse boarded upon execution of this agreement and before move-in of said horse(s) to T5SS’s property.  The terms and conditions set forth herein shall be applicable to each and every animal boarded by Owner(s).

3.    Feed, Facilities, and Services.      

 

Stable agrees to provide for Full and Partial Board Owners adequate feed and facilities for normal and reasonable care required for maintaining the health and well-being of their animals.  There are additional charges if your horse requires a third daily feeding, or for pregnant mares.  Owner acknowledges and has completed & signed the check off list and has inspected the facilities and finds same in safe and proper order.  The standard services to be provided herein and the charges therefore are as posted in the office of the Stable and are subject to change at Stable’s discretion.

 

Stable agrees to provide for Self Care Boarder OWNERS adequate facilities for their normal and reasonable care.  The use of property that is not designated for horses is prohibited by Owners and their horses.  Owner acknowledges and has completed & signed the check off list and has inspected the facilities and finds same in safe and proper order.

 

Stable will provide turnout areas on the elected days, during daylight hours only, for up to 2 hours.  Owners must put up their horses over night.  And Owners must clean turnout areas after each use.   For full board horse, Stable will turnout horse for up to 2 hours a day on the elected days with the exception of Sundays, Holidays and special event days.  Your horse may not   be turned out to pasture with Stable’s cattle and other livestock for any reason(s).  Owner acknowledges that Stable may from time to time hold special events or lessons that use the facilities and will restrict access during those events.  

 

Stable will provide round pens, an arena, tie racks, wash racks, ferrier stands and walkers only for the horses who are on contract and are boarded in Stable.  No other horses are allowed on the premises, or to use the round pens, turnouts, arenas, walkers or in stall areas without a boarding agreement signed and on file.  Horses are allowed in round pens and on walkers for up to thirty (30) minutes at a time, in order to be courteous to other horses and their Owners.  There will not be any use of the round pens, arenas or walkers on rainy days, or when pens are wet or when there is a high wind, or storm. 

 

 

owners who use Stable’s arenas and equipment must IMMEDIATELY clean THEM THIS INCLUDES round penS, walkING areas, and any other areaS that the horses have soiled when THEY are finished with those areas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.         Risk of loss and Standard of care

 

During the time that the horse(s) is/are in the custody of stable, stable shall not be liable for any sickness, disease, estray, theft, death or injury which may be suffered by the horse(s) or any other cause of action, whatsoever, arising out of or being connected in any way with the boarding of said horse(s), except in the event of negligence on the part of stable, its agents, and or employees.  In the event of hurricane type WEATHER or severe weather stable has noway to evacuate horses.  However Owners may remove horses to higher gounds at their own discression.  Stable shall not be liable for any type of damages or losses.

 

The Owner fully understands that Stable does not carry any insurance on any horse(s) not owned by it for boarding or any other purposes, whether public liability, accidental injury, theft or equine mortality insurance, and that all risks connected with boarding or for any other reason for which the horse(s) in the possession of, and on the premises of Stable are to be borne by the Owner.

 

THE STANDARD OF CARE APPLICABLE TO STABLE IS THAT OF ORDINARY CARES OF A PRUDENT HORSE OWNER AND NOT AS A COMPENSATED BAILEE.

 

IN NO EVENT SHALL STABLE BE HELD LIABLE TO OWNER FOR EQUINE DEATH OR INJURY IN AN AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) PER ANIMAL.  OWNER AGREES TO OBTAIN EQUIINE INSURANCE FOR ANY ANIMAL VALUED IN EXCESS OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000), AT OWNER’S EXPENCE, OR FOREGO ANY CLAIM FOR AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000).  OWNER AGREES TO DISCLOSE THIS ENTIRE AGREEMENT TO OWNER’S INSURANCE COMPANY AND PROVIDE STABLE WITH THE COMPANY’S NAME, ADDRESS AND POLICY NUMBER.  FAILURE TO DISCLOSE INSURANCE INFORMATION SHALL BE AT OWNER’S RISK.

 

5.         HOLD HARMLESS.

 

Owner agrees to hold Stable harmless from any and all claims arising from danger or injury caused by Owner’s horse(s) to anyone, and defend Stable from any such claims.  Owner agrees to disclose any and all hazardous or dangerous propensities of horse(s) boarded with Stable.  Owner also agrees to hold Stable harmless for any loss or injury to horse, Owner, Owner’s family, Friends and Guest.  Owner agrees to ensure that all guest and family read posted liability sign, sign the Stable liability release, and follow Stable rules.  All risk to people and horses are assumed by the Owner.  All cost, no matter how catastrophic, connected with the Stable for any reason for which the horse and Owner’s (guest) are on the property of the Stable, are to be borne by the Owner. Stable is not liable for the loss of Owner and Guest.

 

6.         Emergency Care.

 

Stable agrees to attempt to contact Owner should Stable feel that medical treatment is needed for said horse(s), and is unable to contact Owner, Stable shall then authorize to secure emergency, veterinary, and blacksmith care for the health and well-being of said horse(s).  All cost of such care secured shall be paid by the Owner within ten (10) days from the date Owner receives notice therefore, or Stable authorized, as Owner’s agent, to arrange direct billing to Owner.  If Owner’s horse is sick or injured, it is Owners responsibility to tend and care for horses needs, not the Stables.  It is also the responsibility of the Owner to transport horse to the veterinarian.  The Stable will not be held liable in any way.  In case of an equines death, it is the responsibility and expense of the Owner to remove carcass within 12 hours of being notified or to pay T5SS for removal.

 

Owner agrees to notify Stable of any and all change of address, emergency telephone numbers, itineraries or other information reasonably necessary to contact Owner in the event of an emergency.  In the event Owner departs for vacation or is otherwise unavailable, prior to departure Owner shall notify Stable as to what party is authorized to make decisions in the Owner’s place with regards to the feedings, death, well-being, and/or medical treatment of the horse(s).

 

7.         Limitation of Actions.

 

Any action or claim brought by Owner against Stable for breach of this Contract or for loss due to negligence must be brought within one (1) year of the date such claim or loss occurs.

 

8.         COGGINS, VACCINATIONS, Shoeing and DEWorming.      

 

Stable agrees to arrange group Ferrier and Veterinarian appointments at Owners expense.  Stable has provided a concreted tie rack for the Veterinarian and Ferrier services, so that the horses will not be tied to building post or stall post during the visit.  Owner may choose to arrange visits by Owner‘s own Ferrier and Veterinarian rather than use Stable Veterinarian and Ferrier.  Owner is responsible for any and all misuse of the Stables by their Ferrier and Veterinarian, and will be held liable for damages to properties caused by them.  In any case, Owner must be on site and will handle their own horse during those visits and appointments.  Owner will clean the areas that their Vet and Ferriers uses immediately after service are finished.

 

In the event that Owner does not provide adequate care to their horse(s), such as hoof trimming, shots, de-worming, and etc T5SS will provide the care at Owners expense and Owner will have (seven) 7 days to compensate T5SS.

 

Owner agrees to provide Stable with all health records with regard to the horse(s).  Stable requires that all horses have their EWT {6 way} shot(s) and submit proof to T5SS prior to move in date.  These shots should be administered no more than (one hundred, twenty) 120 days or (four) 4 months prior to move in date.

 

 All horses must have their annually EWT prior to Oct 31 of each year and submit proof of immunizations to T5SS by the same date.  Owner agrees to have the horse(s) paste wormed and vaccinated on a schedule set by Stables, and in the event same is not accomplished and proof of same presented to Stable within (thirty) 30 days from the date of such services or Veterinary treatment, Stable is authorized to arrange for such treatment, but not obligated to do so; such expense shall be the obligation of the Owner, and upon presentation by Stable of the bill for such services rendered, including service charges, any bill shall be paid within (seven) 7 days from the date the bill is submitted to the Owner.

 

9.         Changes or Termination of This Agreement.   

 

It is agreed by both parties that this Agreement may be changed or terminated upon (thirty) 30 day notice, regardless of the boarding period.  All notices must be issued in writing.  The posting of updated rate schedules in a conspicuous or regulation changes as may be deemed appropriate by Stable.

 

10.       Right of Lien.               

 

The Owner is put on notice that Stable has the right to place a Agister lien on horse(s) as set forth in the laws if the State of Texas, for the amount due for the board and keep of such horse(s), and also for storage and services, and shall have the right, without process of law, to retain said horse(s) and tack until the amount of said indebtedness is discharge.  Stable will and can enforce the Right of Lien within 45 days of nonpayment if T5SS deems necessary.  However, Stable will not be obliged to retain and/or maintain the horse(s) in question in the event the amount of the bill exceeds the anticipated unregistered value of the horse(s).  In the event Stable exercises Stable’s lien rights as above-described for non-payment, this Agreement shall continue a Bill of Sale and authorized to process transfer applications from any breed registrations as may be applicable to said horse(s) and tack left on premises upon affidavit by Stable’s representatives setting forth the material facts of the default and foreclosure as well as Stable’s compliance with foreclosure procedures as required by law.  In the event collection of this account is turned over to an attorney, Owner agrees to pay all attorney’s fees, cost, and related expenses for which a minimum charge of $300.00 will be assessed.

 

11.       PROPERTY IN STORAGE ON STABLE’S PREMISES.

 

Owner may store certain tack and equipment on the premises of Stable at no additional charge to Owner as long as this tack and equipment fits into Owner’s tack room.  However, Stable shall not be responsible for the theft, loss damage or disappearance of any tack or equipment or other property stored at Stable as same is stored at the Owner’s risk.  Owners are strongly advised not to store valuables and saddles on premises by Stables due to increasing the chances of loss.  Stable shall not be liable for the theft, loss, damage, or disappearance of any tack or equipment taken to horse shows or clinics.

 

Items stored upon the premises will be subject to a $3.00/day storage cost for all delinquent accounts and can and will be sold to bring account to satisfactory status.

Trailers may be parked in a designated area on premises for an additional $5.00 a week or $15.00 a month fee (above boarding fees).  Owner of trailers parked in designated area must give Stable a 24 hour notice or better to unlock trailer area for removal of trailer.  Stable is not liable for theft or damages to Owners personal property including trailers.

 

12.       INHERENT RISKS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK.

 

The undersigned (Owner) acknowledge there are inherent risks associated with equine activities such as below, and hereby expressly assume all risks associated with participating in such activities.  The inherent risks include, but are not limited to the propensity of equines to behave in ways such as, running, bucking, biting, kicking, shying, stumbling, rearing, falling or stepping on, that may result in injury, harm or death to persons on or around them; the unpredictability of equine’s reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement and unfamiliar objects, persons or other animals; the certain hazards such as surface and subsurface conditions; collisions with other animals; the limited availability of emergency medical care; and the potential of a participant to act in a negligence manner that may contribute to injury to the participant or others, such as failing to maintain control over the animal or not acting within such participants ability.

 

Owner expressly releases Stable from any and all claims for personal injury or property damage, even if caused by negligence (if allowed by the laws of this State) by Stable or its representatives, agents or employees.

 

13.       DAMAGES CAUSED BY OWNERS AND HORSES.

 

Owner agrees to pay Stables within 15 days any and all moneys due for damages caused by their horses, their guest, their vehicles, their equipment and themselves beyond reasonable wear and tear.  Damages caused by horses in their stalls due to chewing, kicking, leaning or other means must be reported within 3 days of damaged to decrease the repair expenses, and payment for damages must be made within 15 days of repair.  Any damages to waters and faucets must be reported immediately to decrease water loss and expenses.  

 

14.       ENTIRE AGREEMENT.

 

This Contract represents the entire agreement between the parties.  No other agreements, promises, or representations, verbal or implies, are included herein unless specifically stated in the written agreement.  This contract is made and entered in the State of Texas, Harris County and shall be enforced and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the said State.

 

15.       ENFORCEABILITY OF CONTRACT.

 

In the event one or more part of this contract are found to be unenforceable or illegal, the remaining portions hereof shall be deemed in full and effect.

 

 

 

16.       INCOME PRODUCING ACTIVITIES.

 

Stable must be aware of and authorized in writing any income producing activities that occur on Stable’s premises.  Prior to engaging in any teaching/training activities or to invite any teachers/instructors to the property to conduct paid activities, Instructor/Trainer Agreement must be read and signed and any activities must be approved by Stable in writing.

 

17.       LEAGAL FEES.

 

Should any action of the law or in equity be commenced by either party to this agreement in connection with any breech or breeches of this agreement by the other party, any court of competent jurisdiction may add to any judgment rendered in favor of either party a sum that will reasonably compensate the prevailing party for any attorney’s fees incurred in the action, and for any cost and expense reasonably incident to the action.

 

 

18.       ASSIGNMENT OF AGREEMENT.

 

Stable may assign this agreement or any rights under it at any time without Owner’s consent.  If Stable does make an assignment, Stable’s assignee shall have all the rights, powers, privileges, and remedies set forth in the Agreement.  Owner shall be obligated to any assignee only after written notice of the agreement is mailed to Owners address listed in this agreement.  Owner may assign all of the rights and benefits of this Agreement, but Stable shall not be obligated to any assignees of Owner unless Stable has given written consent to such agreement.  Any assignment of rights under this Agreement by Owner constitutes a wavier of Owner of any and all claims and defenses of any kind arising out of this Agreement that Owner may have against Stable at any time.  Any assignee of Owner is bound by the wavier if Owner and is barred from asserting any claims or defenses so waived by Owner.  Owner agrees that photos taken of boarders and boarders horses by Stable may be used on Stable’s website, or advertising without a release form, or obligation to Own.

 

19.       Rules and Regulations.

 

The Owner agrees to abide by all the rules and regulations of the Stable presented in Exhibit “A”.  In the event someone other than the Owner shall call for the horse(s), such person shall have written authority signed by the Owner to obtain said horse(s) and will be placed in file.

 

WARNING

UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT REISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.

EXHIBIT “A”

 

RULES

1)      no one is allowed on the property of tex’s 5-star Stables unless they are guest of a tenant and escorted by them.   Please check on visitors that you do not know and refer them to BIG TEX FEED for an appointment to view premises or if they have questions about the property.

 

2)      Please do not cut across or walk in cabled off Grass area in front of the barn stalls.

3)      Keep horses off all grass areas LOCATED IN FRONT OF STALLS AND ACROSS FROM STALL UNDER THE tREE {future picnic area and playground}.  Horses are allowed in the grass areas around round pens and in the back of the stalls {future turnout area}.

 

4)      Absolutely No riding horses in the barn or covered area.

5)      Absolutely No racing horses on Stable premises {grounds}.

6)      No running or lunging horses in parking area and around others and vehicles.

 

7)      No training or lunging horses in stall area.

8)      STUD OWNERS:  YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR HORSE AT ALL TIMES.  You must remember to keep your studs on tight leads and away from all other horse to keep them from harming other tenants and their horses.  Studs require more control and attention than a gelding or a mare and the owners of them have to take special considerations for them.  {Latching your stall doors, walking further, waiting for another horse to pass before bringing them out, and being close to them when other horses are walking or being ridden around a stud.}

 

9)      Please check you stall doors before you leave the property to ensure that the door on your stalls are closed, latched and chained properly.  No locks are allowed on your horses stalls. 

 

10)  Please keep all gates closed; this includes front entrance gates, and closing stall gates, round pen gates and turnout gates when you exit them.

 

11)  Owners are not allowed to turn over keys to the gates to anyone not leasing a stall without written permission from Stables.

 

12)   No parking in entrance to stall areas and no vehicles are allowed in stall areas.  There are designated feed drop off areas for rainy days.  And there are wheel barrows and dollies provided for ease of unloading feeds and hay.  These items need to be put back in the proper place when you are finished with them.  There is a wheel-barrel rack and the yellow dolly needs to be placed behind the last wheel-barrels. 

 

13)  Please park vehicles in parking areas correctly and do not block the parking spaces by pulling across with horse trailers.  Horse loading and unloading must be done from a parking area designated for trailers.  This is usually in the areas where the trailers are parked horizontally to the railroad ties, where the horse can walk straight into the trailers.

 

14)  Turn off all water faucets after use AND ROLL HOSES UP ON THE HOSE RACKS.

 

15)   Please help keep the restrooms clean. 

 

16)  Please turn lights off when not in use.  Lights are only to be used when necessary and must be cut off by 10 PM.

 

17)  No fans or heaters allowed in stalls.  Horses maybe blanketed during the winter and cool sheets used in the summer and spring times.

 

18)  No smoking in the stall or barn area or in any covered buildings.  Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking area and in vehicles.  Absolutely no butts are to be thrown on grounds.  You must be responsible to dispose of your butts properly.

 

19)  No Glass Containers of any kind are allowed on premises.  Drinking of different types of beverages is allowed and all containers must be disposed of properly.  Intoxication either by alcohol or drugs on the property is strictly prohibited.

 

 

20)  Violence, possession of firearms, fireworks and any other illegal weapons is strictly prohibited on the premises.

 

21)  Use of round pens, walkers and turnouts are prohibited to inexperienced riders and anyone under the age of 15 years, unless being supervised by their parent or guardian.

 

22)  Riders under the age of 15, all students in lesson, and any one using facility equipment must be wearing proper equipment or gear.

 

23)  Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult at all times.

 

24)  Children may not run between or behind vehicles or horses while playing on playground.

 

25)  Owner and or Boarders must inform all of their visiting guest to our Stable’s the rules and regulation as soon as they arrive on the property. (E.g. smoking on property in designated areas.)

 

26)  No dogs belonging to Boarders or Visitors are allowed on the property at any time they must be left in your vehicles or in their kennels.

 

27)  Horses are not to be left unattended except in their stalls.

28)  Halters must be left near turnout gates where horse is turned out.

29)  Rude behavior will not be tolerated.  Encourage others to keep this a safe place to be for all of us.

 

30)  PLEASE DO NOT TAKE, BORROW, OR STEAL ANY OTHER TENANTS FEED, HAY, STALL TOOLS, TACK, OR EQUIPMENT.  IF YOU ARE CAUGHT STEALING SOMEONEELSES ITEMS, YOU WILL BE ASK TO LEAVE AND REMOVE YOUR HORSE(S) IMEDIATELY.  YOU ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT FROM THE GUEST THAT YOU BRING TO THE STABLES.

 

31)  Please do not open stall doors of horse not owned by you.

32)  Please do not pet other Owners horses without their permission.

33)  Please do not feed extra feed or hay to horses not belonging to you unless authorized by the Owner of that horse.

 

34)  Please do not feed treats to any of the horses unless it is your own horse.

35)  Owners and visitors must be kind to horses. No beating horse(s).

36)  Dispose of empty feed bags, hay strings, and other trash in dumpster only.  Do not use the empty barrels for your trash.  Keep the barn clean! This includes cleaning up after your horse(s). 

 

37)  Keep the turnout areas, walker area and round pens clean.  You are responsible for any (poop) mess that your horse leaves while outside of its stall and on the premises.

 

38)  Please do not use concreted area next to dumpster for dumping stall waste.  Please do not dump in the grass past the concrete close to the fence; this causes difficulty for the tractor to remove the waste by the fence.

 

39)  When leaving the Property (driving or riding), please remember to close the gate and lock it if there is not another Tenant inside.  

 

40)  Please follow posted hours of operation 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM.  {Gates are to be locked by 10:00 PM}.

Looking for a safe, clean place to board you horse?  Big Tex Feed has its own stable stocked with premium stalls for your horse or horses.  We call it “The Healthy Happy Horse Hotel.”  Not only to you get to use our custom designed stalls and amenities but you also get the assurance of safety, healthy, family oriented facility.  We originally designed the facility for personal use but the demand to rent from our customer for a stable that is clean, easily accessible and convenient for them and their horses. 

At Tex’s 5 Star Stables we offer full board, partial board and self care of boarding, so if you plan a family vacation and need your horse to be taken care while you’re gone, we’re the stable that you want your horse to be in.  Our stalls are 10’X15’ and are equipped with automatic waterers for those hot summer days and are equipped with hay racks, feeders.  Our facility and stalls was designed to make your job caring for your horse easier.  Along with the fully equipped stalls, you also get a spacious, secured tack room equipped with a feed barrel.
